The horse dates to the "later prehistory," which means either the Iron Age or the late Bronze Age. For thousands of years, people have been carefully removing the grass form the shape, preserving the beautiful outline of the horse. Definitely a must see!
Henry enjoyed the run through the pastures to go see the horse. He was on Derek's back, and bounced up and down and up and down as we ran--just like horsies do--to see the White Horse.
